Many people find it difficult to wear dentures because they often feel and become loose in the mouth. Thus many people resort to using messy adhesives to try and keep them in place.
Dental Implants offer a way to stabilise dentures, giving you a secure, stable and tight-fitting denture therefore allowing you to eat and smile with confidence. Implant Supported Dentures will give you the peace of mind that once your denture clicks into place it will not move around in your mouth.

Denture Stabilisation with Dental Implants
During the procedure, implants are placed, and the bone is left to bond around them. This procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic and at Bowe Dental Clinic we are firmly committed to pain-free dentistry so while there may be some mild discomfort (as with any dental procedure) having these implants placed will not hurt! Your existing denture will sit comfortably over the Implants during the healing phase.
After the Implants have healed, your new denture is fitted. The denture will be secure but may be removed for cleaning with a simple “click”. Daily cleaning will consist of removing your denture at night and brushing around your implants to remove any food and plaque.
You will be required to visit your dentist for regular check ups.
