Celebrating a Legacy

Dr. Ryan has been a pillar of local dentistry since the early days of his practice. His commitment to patient wellbeing, gentle manner, and deep community connection have made him a trusted presence for generations of families. In 2021, when Bowe Dental acquired the long-established Ryan & Dodd practice, Dr. Ryan joined the Bowe Dental team, ensuring a smooth and reassuring transition for his loyal patients.

Bowe Dental Nenagh is proud to honour the remarkable career and well-earned retirement of Dr. Michael Ryan, a much-loved dentist who has dedicated more than four decades to caring for the people of Nenagh and its surrounding communities.

Today, Bowe Dental Nenagh is home to a talented team of seven dentists and three hygienists, providing the community with more than 350 appointment slots each week. The clinic proudly accepts both public and private patients and is welcoming new patients, ensuring that high-quality dental care remains accessible to everyone in the region. The current team - Dr. Maria, Dr. Sarah, Dr. Einas, Dr. Vitalii, Dr. Alina, Dr. Anuj, and Dr. Rob Bowe - continues the warm, patient-centred approach that Dr. Ryan championed throughout his career.

Over the past four years, Dr. Ryan has embraced Bowe Dental’s vision for modern, patient-focused dentistry. The clinic has continued to invest heavily in new technology - including upgraded dental facilities, advanced scanning equipment, and expanded treatment options for patients of all ages. Dr. Ryan has been an important part of this period of growth, helping to guide the practice forward while upholding the values that have always defined his care.

Dr Ryan said: “May I thank Rob Bowe and all the team at Bowe Dental for allowing me to enjoy the last few years of my career, surrounded by like minded caring professionals. I am delighted to know that my patients will continue to be looked after by the talented and caring team at Bowe Dental Nenagh. I would also like to thank all my patients, for their continued support, loyalty and friendship over the last 40 +years.”

Dr Bowe said: “Dr Michael Ryan is an absolute gentleman and it has been my pleasure to get to know him over these past 4 years. I and the team have learned a lot from his calm caring approach to dental care. His patients will of course miss him but we will all continue to practice his philosophy in the years ahead. I wish Michael and his wife Mary a very happy retirement.”

Bowe Dental Nenagh extends heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Michael Ryan on his retirement and deep appreciation for his many years of service, leadership, and care. His legacy will remain an enduring part of the clinic and the community he served so faithfully.
