No, the procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic, so you will feel no pain during the procedure. However you may experience some minor swelling and bruising after having the Implants placed. We will provide you with antibiotics and painkillers should you require them. You will also receive an aftercare pack which includes aftercare instructions which all of our patients find very useful.
Implants can replace one or more missing teeth. They can also be used in stabilising your denture, giving you a tight, secure denture which will not move around in your mouth and will give you the ability to eat your favourite foods and smile with total confidence.
Having your Dental Implant (the root portion of the tooth) placed takes just one visit. Then the Dental Implant is left for approximately three months for the bone to bond around the Implant. After this time we attach and fit your crown.
Yes, at Bowe Dental Clinic all components of the dental Implant are included in the cost. Many clinics may only advertise the price of one component, e.g. the Implant itself, only for you to find out at your consultation that the price has increased from the initial quote.
We will offer to replace the Implant or provide an alternative solution, such as a bridge.
